I’m Lee-Ann Werner — a Christian self-leadership coach and speaker for women carrying both a business or career and a marriage. Long before I helped other women lead themselves with Gentle Authority, I had to learn it in the hardest seasons of my own life.
My story isn’t one of having all the answers. It’s a story of faith, perseverance and discovering what can change when we stop trying to carry everything ourselves.
The story
I didn’t learn this from a textbook. I learned it by living it.
I built a successful six-figure business and knew how to lead, carry responsibility and make things happen. But some of my greatest lessons weren’t learned in business. They were learned behind closed doors.
After standing in faith for my marriage for 25 years, I witnessed God restore what I could never have forced or controlled. That journey changed how I understood faith, leadership, relationships — and ultimately, myself.
Twenty-five years of standing in faith for my marriage, a six-figure business, years of mentoring, speaking and coaching — none of it was tidy while I was living it. In 2026 that road was recognised with the Lifetime Impact Award, and my story now sits alongside others in the anthology Manifesto of Hope. I share that not as a credential, but because it says something I want you to know: what you are carrying quietly right now can still become the very thing God uses.
